Read the opening of Alison’s email to her friend and answer the questions.
Hi Jenny,
How are you? I can’t wait to see you again. I’m having an awful time here – a holiday with your family when you’re 16 is just a terrible idea. My mum wants to sleep longer – she wants to relax because she’s on holiday – while my dad keeps planning all kinds of trips and activities, which drives my mum crazy. The twins – you know they are only 10 – are really impossible. They get up before everybody else and start their busy lives – running around, looking for things they’ve lost, fighting with each other, playing some silly games and so on. I’m so tired of this that I even miss school! Can you believe it? .....
