Negotiating

Below you will find some tips on negotiating good salary. Read them carefully and then decide whether the statements given below the text are true or false.

Always let them put their offer down first and see if its acceptable to you. This is normally in writing, if oral you must request a reasonable time to contemplate the offer and if you’re not content make a counter offer which is reasonable to you and the circumstances. Don't push too hard, but higher than what you're willing to take so you can accept that offer when the offer a lower one.
