GRAMMAR: verbs with prepositions

Many verbs have this structure:

verb	+ preposition	+ object
Let’s talk	about	(what?) your problems.
Let’s talk	about	(doing what?) looking for a job.

If prepositions are followed by verbs, they are verbs with –ing.

Here are other verbs with prepositions.

Some verbs have this structure:

He accused	me	of	cheating.
I thanked	her	for	helping us.
They congratulated	me	on	getting the job.
Forgive	me	for	leaving you all that work.
He warned	her	against	moving to Africa.
They suspected	him	of	stealing the money.
The traffic prevented	us	from	being on time.
