GRAMMAR : Conditionals type 0 and 1
Look at these sentences.
If you work too much, you are tired.
The equipment doesn’t work properly if it is not regularly serviced.
If snow is heated, it turns into water.
What tenses are used in both parts of the conditional?
These are conditional sentences called the zero conditionals. They are used to talk about habitual results and things generally considered to be true. They are also used when you want to tell someone what to do, for example:
If you are sick, see the doctor.
If it rains, take an umbrella.
Don’t drive if you drink beer.
